Partnerships Help Heal the People We Serve
The stories of violence, especially gun violence, can seem overwhelming. But what is not reported is how organizations like Project H.O.O.D. help to curb these statistics by offering programming and services to those at-risk to violence in Chicago's southside.
Project H.O.O.D. is located on the south side of Chicago, in the Woodlawn Community and next door to the Parkway Gardens apartments. Executive Director Corey B. Brooks has helped to broker gang truces, feed the hungry and offer a safe space to the children in this community.
We invite you to partner with Project H.O.O.D. and help us continue our work.
With the help of current partners, we are expanding our programming into a new space at 6330 S. King Drive. We cannot do it alone and we are there when others cannot be. With your help, your presence can be felt in the many lives that are affected by our work.
Project H.O.O.D. is working to make Chicago a winning city for all.
