Light In The Night
This Women’s History Month, something meaningful is taking place on the South Side of Chicago.
This is not just a film screening. It is a moment to learn, reflect, and honor a story that changed the world.
Centered around the life of Henrietta Lacks, this event brings awareness to the woman whose cells transformed modern medicine and helped save millions of lives. Her contribution has impacted everything from vaccines to cancer research, yet her story remained unknown for far too long.
Father’s Have Rights
Join Project H.O.O.D. on March 25 from 11 AM–1 PM at 6620 S. King Drive for our Fathers Have Rights event. Representatives will be onsite to provide guidance on child support cases, custody matters, modification requests, and other family support services. You do not need to have an active case to attend. This free community event is designed to equip fathers with information, resources, and support to better advocate for themselves and their children.
